Aesthetics Practitioner course
This foundation course provides a good basis of theoretical knowledge and practical skills from which to build a successful cosmetic practise.
The course is over two days and includes both theory and practical work on each of the days. Please note that the order in which the course is taught may vary.
Day 1
Morning
Dermal Fillers -Theory

- NASHA – Non Animal Stabilised Hyaluronic Acid – properties, advantages, placement and clinical uses
- Getting the most out of your product
- Evidence-based practice - a short look at studies confirming safety and efficacy.
- Pain relief and consultation guidelines
Local Anaesthetics
- Pharmacology
- Relevant neural anatomy
- Technique for a successful nerve block
Afternoon
Practical Session- Demonstration of injection technique
- Assessment of client's face
- Hands on practical session for restlylane with model or other delegate
Day 2

Introduction - Botox®/Vistabel Training
Anatomy and Pharmacology
- Facial anatomy facial musculature
- Facial neural anatomy
- Injection placements
- Pharmacological actions, dosage, additional equipment, storage
Botox® in Practise
The consultation – including how to help your clients to have realistic expectations about the results of the treatments, encouraging a good self image in your clients, and the You Are Beautiful step-by-step consultation guidelines. Also included in this most important module are:

- Getting the natural look
- Developing an ongoing relationship
- Top ups
- Dealing with difficult clients

The Business
- Clinical settings

Botox® Practical Session
- Demonstration of Botox® injection site selection
- Injection technique
- Pain reduction
- Practical hands on experience of injection techniques
- Practice with other attendees on the course or a model.
