Skin Rejuvenation

In addition to the well known ability to fill out lines and wrinkles, Restylane and other dermal fillers can be used to 'plump up' skin in areas such as the back of the hands. This revitalises these areas and generally rejuvenates the skin to make it more youthful and vibrant looking.

Hyaluronic acid, the main ingredient in, for example, Restylane, is naturally found in skin and is one of the ever present moisturisers and supporters of the skin's natural tumescence. As the skin ages, this amount of hyaluronic acid diminishes over time. Injecting Restylane and/or other dermal fillers replaces the hyaluronic acid lost over time and generally fills out and rejuvenates your skin (as shown in the above photographs).
